Where Inclusion Meets Innovation

Policy Hub for Inclusive Development (PHID — pronounced “feed”) is Latin America’s first independent Social R&D think tank. We believe that innovation methods can transform public policy and accelerate inclusive development, and we work to turn bold ideas into scalable solutions for the world’s most pressing challenges.

Our Mission

We generate applied evidence, co-create policies and experiments with governments and innovation ecosystems, and build Social R&D capabilities to design, test, and scale solutions for inclusive development.

Why We Exist

1% of public spending on experimentation and learning could recover
up to

$0.0 billion

Problem

Governments have the mandate and resources to improve lives, but many lack the R&D systems needed to turn promising policy and service innovations into scalable impact.

Social Cost of Inaction

When governments cannot test and learn with people at the center, public systems fail to evolve fast enough to respond to changing needs, weakening institutional trust and responsiveness.
